much appreciated my nigga. indeed…. that’s just the way the cookie crumbles eh? lol the em fans are vicious. but its all good, like i said he’s still undoubtedly a monster. no disputing that. and yo you pretty much laid it out. that’s exactly what’s going on. only reason i don’t care for it, personally, is because… well… this is hip hop. master of ceremony, it’s just cheesy to me. i live in atlanta and i see these wack ass niggas doing it all the time. if em is gon use the hypeman (which is dope when used properly) then cut that vocal track shit off and do it raw, LIVE.
maybe i would give em a pass, but i’ve seen Lupe in concert twice and that nigga runs, flips, jumps up and down, and completely loses himself on stage AND STILL raps all his lyrics with zero playback. (and we all kno thats a wordy muhfucka lol) so no passes for em. that’s why i said if he’s runnin 7mi daily lik he says he otta be beastin on stage.

haha i was absolutely gonna contrast Em with Lupe for the exact same reason. Lupe is incredible. one of the best rap acts i’ve ever seen. he’s the most hyper motherfucker on stage; constantly running and moving in like rehearsed steps. and raps all the words with no vocal track to help him.
i saw bubba sparxxx (sp?) once and he had a track doing every single word for him. :( pathetic. when lupe first started i saw him and he would forget the words several times during a show. that was b4 he really even blew up, like pre-food and liquor. but now he’s got it down and i forgave him 4 the mistakes, anyway. lyricism is tough.
i’d like to add that rapradar is definitely a pro-Em site. other sites aren’t so fanatical. but elliott wilson and aftermath, 50 and Em, they been on the same team for a long time. so coming here u mite as well go to thisis50 for all the bias you find with the site admin and the fans. but it’s all good.
Ok Ive had to post this several times on different posts when people accuse Em of lip syncing. You dont realize that Em doubles his voice up n all his tracks an when he is live he mutes the main track and has the backup playing. Em sounds exactly the same as his masters n his albums. So when you think he is lip syncin its cuz he sounds the same. Now yes he doesnt always finishes his lines, he lets his hypeman do it cz thats jus how he is. He has always been like that and no its not to catch his breath he has alot of stamina duhhh jus listen to his verses. So no Em dont lip sync and you can clearly hear his voice rappin n despicable performance
