Looks like the Kang will take throne six weeks later than originally planned. According to HHDX, King Uncaged has been moved from August 17th to September 28th. Will it be worth the wait?

I don’t think push backs are standard marketing ploys. Your shit gets pushed back (pause) when the singles aint popping. Just look @ the Billboard Rap 100, Nikki has the top spot so it’s all fucked up now.

I think in the past 2 years Eminem is one of the very few artists to have 2 albums come out on their ACTUALLY release dates.

And K-Lam got it before I was about to say it. Eminem is the only nigga that has announced a date TWICE (Relapse & Recovery) and kept it.

Once that “Love The Way You Lie” video drops it’s gonna get worse. That joint is going to be #1 on Billboard within the next 2-3 weeks as it debut at #2 behind California Gurl before it was even an official single.

thats because Em finishes his music before he sets a release date. Plus all those delays confuses people and they won’t buy it til they find it.
EM can set a release date & keep it bcuz he has the largest fan base in hiphop. Dude doesnt even have to put out a 1st single and his fans will still cop it. Every1else fanbase is not as thick
He’ll probably have to push it back even further. Kanye will have all the buzz and attention for his album all throughout summer and leading into September release. I mean, Power is in the top 10 on itunes and it leaked a MONTH ago. Ti on the other hand is on single number 4 now and still has no real buzz. The writing is on the wall.
Even Paper Trail got pushed back once when “No Matter What” and ‘Swag Your Rag” flopped.
He’s trying 2 drop on a date all by himself so he can sell 100,000 & have a no.1 album
