Before performing at the Wireless Festival yesterday, Jermaine stopped by Tim Westwood’s show on BBC1xtra. He gave a brief Q&A and then freestyled over some classic instrumentals.

@chris…. J.Cole is from North Carolina Homey.. Thats the south if you’re in the U.K….. And dont say he sounds like he’s from the east coast or what not cuz he has a southern accent all day.. Dopest rapper out right now IMO
J. Cole is from the South but he aint your typical southern artist nowadays. He has even said himself that he got an east coast flow with Southern influences. He’s Southern in the way Scarface is a southern artist…..
