Usually, suspicious emails get tossed like a salad. But this time, I took a chance an voilà! A new track by J.Cole. Happy Friday, indeed. Not sure if this will appear on his debut, but it sounds like a keeper. No need to think about that.

    Regardless of the Drake comparisons, the reason why Cole fans might get so mad is that you ignore that he actually has skills. You claim that he sucks and is average, but simply admit that the man has talent. Only when making extreme statements like he has no skills or he simply ‘sucks’ is when you get the J. Cole fans going for your jugular. Do you realize that Drake himself has said on numerous occasions that J. Cole is his hardest competitionout? Have you also not realized that Drake has also said himself that he has to improve his rap skills and that he doesn’t see himself anywhere near the plateau of great that everyone else sees him at? Now, if an artist himself is able to accept the fact that he still needs works lyrics wise and so forth that allows us to put Cole over him without even showing our bias. One thing you will find is that Cole is associated more with fans of Talib, KRS, and other emcees in that category. Maybe that shows a little something

    This guy is getting some insane hype right now. So sick I wouldn’t be surprised if this didn’t make the cut for the album.

    J.cole is boring. I’m from the Westcoast, no one mentions this dude. Period. He is going to flop hard.

    @ultrakid
    fuck that i aint gonna lie drake is not that good and i bought thank me later
    to be honest he cant sing that good, to be honest he cant rap that good
    j.cole raps alot better and his singing style is more tolerable

    also idk if u heard just begun but im pretty sure cole came out on top on that one, so putting jay elect over him like that is questionable at least

  6. killaquest says:

    plus drake sounds more like big sean than j.cole

  7. Ultrakid says:

    @cozerrrr,
    Cole will lose his Underground fan base as soon as he goes big because most Underground heads usually hate a rapper just for the fact they’re Mainstream and they will either deny a Mainstream rappers talent or never pay attention to thier lyrics. People started calling Drake and B.o.B. sell-outs as soon as they blew up and the same exact thing will happen with J. Cole…Man, it’s a good thing I’m not a hater and I love Hip Hop in general both Mainstream and Underground.

    @killaquest says,
    Cole can’t sing good…Kanye sang his own choruses at one point and so did 50 but they are far from the best singers infact if they made a whole song with only signing and no Auto-Tune or some studio effect you would see that they can’t sing for shit and I’m pretty sure Cole can’t sing for shit too.

    Drake is a good rapper and a good singer….He needs to improvement on his rapping but he doesn’t suck.

    Jay Elect would murder Cole on a track…and yes I’ve heard Just Begun…Talib Kweli>>>J. Cole too. Cole is not the best rapper ever maybe he’s the best freshmen rapper but you guys overrate him in the same way the media and the masses overrate Drake.

  22. Redrocboy says:

    Cole world nigga !

  23. 106 says:

    Fire Cole keeps coming with dope shit. I don’t consider that singing.

    @ultrakid the problem with Drake is he tries to sing like an r Kelly but he can’t sing without the studio affects. He can’t sing!

  24. Thank Me Hater says:

    I’m really glad to see this shit is getting this many comments

  25. Thank Me Hater says:

    @Ultrakid I cosign your last statement. Just about everything you said was on point. I do believe that Drake has a bit of talent and wish he would go back to his mixtape days. Even then he’s not aggressive enough for me. But that’s just my preference

  26. Thank Me Hater says:

    By the way that Sir Lucious Leftfoot is damn near the best sounding album I’ve heard this year. Got it on repeat! And this is what Ross album will probably sound like but he WILL NOT have the lyricism to back it up. Yet people will call it dope. HOW?!

  27. Nas says:

    dis nigga is talented. can spit and he made the beat.

  28. 5033333 says:

  31. ETHUG says:

    This isn’t on the album.

    Cole’s debut is going to be one of the better ones in recent memory. (i’ve heard about 6 tracks that were SUPPOSED to be on the album and got cut that are FIRE.)

    Stop the hate… AND STOP LEAKING NIGGAS SHIT. HIPHOP IS THE ONLY GENRE THAT KILLS ITSELF DUE TO IGNORANCE.

  32. PITRI says:

    Cole’s Fukin DOPE!!

  33. Whatever says:

    Cosign @ETHUG
    People who have artists music should just keep the shyt to themselves, because I’ve heard two songs that are on the album but I aint saying shit about them or leaking them.

  34. reef says:

    i dont think this is done …. i think he singing on the hook like dat for a referance 4 someone else…cause he tried to hit a high note but usually wen he sing its basically like talking wit a melodie

  35. Cole Lover :) says:

    I tell you, this boy growin’ up in front of our eyes. Most teenage girls listen to Drake, and all because he is affiliated with Young Money and Lil Wayne, and because he is popular. I’m maybe the only teen girl at my school who knows who J. Cole is, and I have ALL of his songs on my iPod including both his mixtapes. I can’t wait till his album in October!!!

  36. TJ2thousandX says:

    J. Cole listen to The Warm Up is really really ill…. Drake’s best mixtape is The Comeback Season, both of them are ill, but do not down play J Cole when comparing to Drake. Drake is an R&B artist.

  37. [...] Another track from Hollywood Cole – although no word on what this track is exactly from. This is pretty sick, in my opinion. Everything from Cole is a consistently high echelon. What do you guys think about his releases? Thanks to RR. [...]

  38. Black Shady says:

    Best debut album since Kanye…im tellin u!

    Cole Days….Cole World!

  39. okdoagg says:

    Why compare Drake and Cole ALL the time?? Theyre both great rookies in their own way..drake for making YOU buy his album while youre claiming its for your sister and Cole because he is just a mean ass rapper…”Clown told me aint you Roc, but where the fuck your chain at? Guess its somethin like your girl nigga, it aint came yet”

    They both suprised us in a good way but since Drake gets the most attention all the jealous niggas start hating on him and his singing, which supposedly is “gay” (same people who claim Recovery is the best hiphop album since ages…uhmm whats Em doing on most of the choruses????)

    Cole will not break Drake’s CD sale numbers but he wins on the fact that the “hiphop-heads”, as we all claim we are, will like the album better than TML..since TML is mostly RnB and Cole is “straight up hiphop”

    Conclusion..they BOTH win so stfu about comparing them fucking losers

  40. o no says:

    @okdoagg

    Drake didnt even do it that big in terms of cd sales….

    Cole can break that sales mark if he starts getting some more mainstream buzz, because both hip hop heads and dumb girls who watch 106 and park for all their music will buy his shit

  41. A Chick says:

    J. Cole!
    Yes……this is what we’ve been waitin for…

  42. Jackson says:

    This is so hot. J. Cole gone change the game.

  43. EriNes says:

    You know whats screwed up with rap fans is we gotta compare one rapper to another and half the time the sounds are so different its like comparing a frieking football player to a basketball player like wtf. There flows are so different you cant compare them Like i get why one might not like one rapper due to flow or what not but give credit where credit given. I like Drake his album i felt wasnt as good as some of his mixtape stuff (period). J-cole i like his flow dope and this song dope (period) and i could go on and on. People hating is getting so annoying.

    >>This song by J-cole is dope.
