He spun at Dream’s listening session back in June and was pretty impressive. Anyway, he tells 1515 that he wants to release a mixtape in conjunction with the film, Takers.
“Takers mixtape; the film comes out on the 27th. I’m gonna put the tape out the same day as the film. I’m gonna get superstar records on there, some exclusives,” Elba continued. “But I’m also trying to get some people that follow me on Twitter, people that have been following and supporting ‘Takers’ to submit a couple records on the mixtape. Hopefully, it’ll be on Mixtape [Daily]. You can review the jam for me. I’ll throw a couple of my own songs on the jam, too — so be careful.”
