Kanye West is an artist in every sense of the word. 1515 dug in their archives and found footage of Ye displaying his artwork to Sway. Included in his collection is a self portrait, a burning cigarette and drinking glass.
Yeezy isn’t the only producer with an artistic palette. Havoc and Swizz Beatz are both known for channeling their inner Rockwells. That’s an ill draw.
I remember that interview. Dope pieces of art. Can’t wait for the new album. He seems to have that College Dropout passion about the new music so that’s a good sign.

I will always admire Kanye cus he made me still love HipHop, like he ignored the gay comments, he moved how he wanted to move, he took his imagination and did HIM no matter what anybody said, the reason why i feel ppl get at his sexuality cus they can’t get at his music lmao, like thats all u can say to discredit this man. Kanye is the reason i still love hiphop, cus other than him, Jay-Z, Lupe, Nas, Kid Cudi, BoB, Drake, a little Luda, Wayne, Ross and some occasional 50, i dont really listen to rap.

I’ve always admired Kanye, I never had a problem with his controversy (although practically everyone else has) and thats why people judge him as prick, jackass, etc. But he’s actually quite intellegent (his lyrics in Forever was the only one that made sense. And I’m A STAN!!!!) and he really is a true artist. That’s why he’ll always be in my top favorites.
