Jay Z is a pop star yet we still consider him as one of our legends. Same with most of the successful hip hop artists, without commercial appeal they would not have sold so many records, the truth is Eminem on several occasions has helped the music industry from sinking not just the hip hop genre, so I think he deserves a little credit.

Dre left DEATHROW broke, AFTERMATH did’nt jump off the way Dre expected. The Firm project kinda flopped due to Tupac’s attack mostly imo and the album Dre put out was kinda garbage. Now Dre has messed with the best in the game from NWA 2 TUPAC with soo many other great artist in between like THE DOC (his best artist until the accident)
Now when Dre came across Eminem a light bulb floated over his head and the 1st single was a clownish record and that was to gain and to manuever attention in a different light, especially since PAC & BIG are dead, who is gonna dictate the hip hop artform now?
Dre schooled the hell out of Eminem, Dre gave him so much game, so much history and mad pointers on how to put a record together and it worked to a perfection. Dre got his money up and Em made history as well as presently. But i truly feel neither Em or Dre care about hip hop but moreless staying on top, which is why Em put out another album in less than a year, credibility was being ridiculed on the RELAPSE album forcing Em to come with a better project and thanks to JAYZ mapping out BP3, EM was able to take that blueprint and add a little of him to the formula.
The gimmick worked, so every thing that Em and Dre has obtain is not outstanding or unbelievable because this was the primary goal of them doing business anyways.
ALWAYS HAVE A MISSION STATEMENT: Dre had 1, Em had 1 with the gimmicky 50cent and 50 followed tradition but tried to change the elements or the formula (THE FORMULA BY THE DOC &DRE)NO 1 CAN DO IT BETTER album
