I would have preferred to hear 3 or 4 “decent” albums from Dre over the last 8 years as opposed to this.
The most revelent rappers in the game are those coming out with mixtapes and albums on the regular. Rappers like Lil Wayne (up until the bid), Rick Ross, and younger cats like Wiz Khalifa and Wale.
Right now it seems like people are starting to doubt Detox. Sure, I’ll still want to hear it when it comes out but Dr. Dre’s starting to lose his relevancy in hip-hop. I mean the guy is in his 40s now. Don’t get me wrong I think the guy has put out some of the most amazing rap material ever.
