Q-Tip is over rated , Common makes great music…but he takes 5 years to put a f’kin album out! The Blakroc project was dope, I pressed fast forward on q tips verses , dude fell off….
2 many people judge off what someone is done, rather then what there doing…we don’t give athletes a pass who performed in there early years, but then fell off…so why musicians?

Q-Tip overrated? Q-Tip fell off…somebody hasn’t listened to The Renaissance.
Because creating music and athletics are two very different things an athlete at age 30 is a completely different person than he was at age 20 in football, basketball, etc… You don’t get better over time your skills actually diminish over time whereas a musician can create music until he’s 60 years old and if his discography proves that he has the talent to create it at a high level then that potential is always going to be there and so is that expectation
