While EA Sports celebrated the upcoming release of NBA Elite 11, across town, 2K Sports did the thing same for their latest title. Common was a musical guest at the latter and freestyled for the crowd. “Lollipop” and “bed rock” references included too.

I feel u on that but “Common Sense “is the only MC that really freestyles “LIVE OFF THE HEAD” on his level. Plus he is a good dude all around. I worked with him for several years and he is true to his word. Musically he is hit and miss but at this point the brother is cashing checks from companies like CBC and video game game companies. He speaks at several colleges yearly too. SO it aint about the albums anymore.

I hope ur exaggerating about the “Lollipop” & “Bed Rock” phrases. He’s been using that shit since “08”!!!…shit has been played if u ask me…
I thought this was pretty dope til I watched the other freestyle you had linked. Realized he already did those Lil Wayne references AND did the pose for the camera thing… and that was the 2 tightest parts. Mannnnn
I guess it’s still more legit than rappers “freestyling” a prewritten 16 bar verse though
