New Music: Black Rob, Peedi Crakk & Lil Cease “I Don’t Know”

I don’t know about y’all, but these three make a great combo over this Harry Fraud-produced track. According to X, Peedi and Cease got a joint project in the works, so we’ll keep that on our radar.

    Only ignorant kids who know nothing about TRUE HIP HOP would focus so much attention on a mixtape cover. . Since when did a cover justify good music? SMH.. These kids are lost. They don’t know hip hop or they head from they ass. The youth today pay more attention to image and numbers/sales then the actual music. Fuck the youth on their version of what hip hop is. I’m listening to country now. Its the realest form of music nowadays.

  20. BRONX, NY says:

    @mac DIESEL,

    I’m not uptight at all. Your right about lil cease, peedi crack, and even Robio AKA Black Rob not being the ILLest emcees/rappers. My comment wasn’t about they’re skills. My comment was about everyone paying so much attention to all the wrong things and still think it’s hip hop.

    In my opion, hip hop is in the state it is in because todays fans want tight jeans/singing/twitter Beef/worldstar video Beef, and gimmicks. Watch wrestling if thats what you want. They wanna know how many units sell in week one like they’re freaking lable execs or something. This is a major problem.

    Maybe its my age. I’m 38. Maybe i don’t relate anymore. I grew up in hip hop at a time when ten new artist would drop an album at the same time and each one was DIFERENT and HOT. You could have Kane, Tribe, Krs, Biz, G-Rap, ghetto boys, and Rakim all drop an album on the same day and trust, they would all be fire. We didn’t care about units or if the cover was wack. Well you did want to see the album for the credits but if the music was tight you supported it either way. But it was the music first that excited us. You could bump the same album all year round and not be bored of it.

    As long as this new generation on fans continue on this path, true artist will never have a chance to be themselves. They will make what will sell and what will that get us? Every artist sounding the same. Everyones album has ten or more guest appearences( basically a compilation). More WWE drama. Which may I add, is all an act to get you the so called fan talking about them and focused on thier image, all the while you forget about the fact that the artist music sucks, or is mediocore at best, and music becomes secondary.

    How many good albums were slept on recently because of everything i just mentioned? I’ll name a few.

    While everyone was busy sucking off Drake, Niki Manaj, Wacka floca, gucci, etc.,

    KRS and Buck shot dropped an album together that was amzing.
    Ghostface dropped a hot album.
    Raekwon dropped a hot album.

    I can name more but you get my point. I mean these albums were Hot and it was real hip hop. None of these albums made a dent in the mainstream. Why, do you think that maybe they went unrecognized because todays fans really don’t care about the music?

    PS. This is not hate, just my opinnion. anyone is welcome to add on and even debate me if you disagree.

    @Bronx NY

    I agree on everything u said my dude accept black rob and peedi crack not being nices compared to the wack ass rapper that r out now these niggas r monsters lmao but people have always over looked black rob, g-dep, peedi crack, common, Mos Def, wale the list goes on its sad when good MC dont even get a chance anymore cuz every bodies waiting for that new weezy album to drop souja boy even gets more play then them which makes me wanna beat the shit out todays youth

  22. BRONX, NY says:

    @Kill_urself

    True Indeed. Peedi and Black Rob got spit game. Compared to whats out now, I agree they are monsters lol.
