Last decade? Early 2000s hip hop was cool. Hip Hop became fully pop music in 2008 when Wayne released that auto tune pop shit “Lollipop” Then every body started using auto tune and them pop.beats cuz it helped Wayne sell a mil first week.
She misses a certain type of sound and that’s understandable….but rap can’t be put in a box like other genres of music. That’s what I love abt rap. U can’t put rap in a box because its universal and these artists and fans try to do that

Radio just won’t play real hip hop and you got make tracks that will make some money and get radio play. I can’t hate on the hustle. The real problem is Radio and music execs who just won’t back hip hop the way they should.
