Now that Jay Electronica’s rollin’ with the R-O-C, it appears not everyone is ready to throw a diamond in the sky. Earlier today, Diddy tweeted that he was hoodwinked, bamboozled, and led astray—seemingly by, Jay Elect. Over the last year, Puff tried to court Jay to Bad Boy Records and even recorded the song, “The Ghost Of Christopher Walllace” together. Shortly after the tweet, Erykah Badu (the mother of Jay’s daughter) responded with the message below.

If you were Jay Elect’s manager (which I believe is Angela Yee) would you honestly want him to sign with Bad Boy? Look at the history of Bad Boy and all signs point to no.
Jay Elect made the best business move for him and his fam.. He’s on a talented roster and I’m sure you can learn alot from the richest man in rap. Plus you got to take into account the money that can be generated from touring with Jay-z, J-Cole, etc. Definitely alot more than Diddy, Dirty Money, Red Cafe, and Cassie.
