Well, the cat’s out of the bag. After holding down the morning slot on Shade 45 for six years, Angela Yee will replace Ed Lover on New York’s Power 105.1 with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God. The new regime begins in two weeks. It’s so hard to say good bye.

Its not the same..on radio you talk less and you’re controlled on what you can see and the talking breaks are shorter because you need to play the same songs over and over. Obviously there is more money in terrestrial radio because of advertisers. None the less congrats.

I was so shocked and disappointed when I tuned in to the morning after yesterday and heard Angela say it was her last day. I love the show, I love Angela, we didnt even get two weeks notice! Angela is my absoulute favorite she’s my friend in my head. I’m from Cali so to hear she is going to a local radio station in NY I wont even be able to listen to her. It limits her so much. This is a sad day for a lot of fans of hers and the show. What about lip service??? I tuned in this evening hoping she would at least still have that show, which I never miss a week of. But I guess since she’s going to another station and all no more lip service. WOW! Well best wishes to Angela in her future endeavors she will be missed but us folks on the west coast. BRING ANGELA BACK!!!!!!!
