KING finally got their queen, as Nicki Minaj strikes a pose for the magazine’s March/April 2011 issue. Peep an excerpt from the feature below.

KING: History has shown that acting is the likeliest transition for rappers. Considering your background, do you want to dabble in Hollywood?
NICKI MINAJ: Of course.

What would be your dream role?
I’d like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy.

You kind of do that now.
Then I want to be able to do some action stuff, like Angelina Jolie.

Like in Salt?
Yes! And then I’d like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world. Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason’s Lyric.

Classic film. You did mention earlier how everything has been time consuming. But when that time frees up, what kind of guy do you look for to be sentimental and organic with?
Um, I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man. You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman.

How should your Ken bring out the freak in you, Barbie?
Just being super aggressive when the time is right.

Are we talking about Mortal Kombat–style “Come here” aggression?
Just something that makes me feel like they’re in control, when we are behind closed doors.

Foxy turned to her Twitter account and explained why she was a no-show at a Christmas Eve party at Club Jelani in Brooklyn. It was rumored that she was going to debut a Lil’ Kim diss record, “Christmas Eve Massacre”.

I hope everyone had a blessed & beautiful Christmas.. my favorite time of the year. Still grieving the loss of someone special & dear to me. Some things are too good to be true, but according to DJ Big Mike, he’s ready to kick off 2011 with a new track called “Syllables” featuring the three headed monster and Jay-Z. Whoa, let the countdown begin.

After receiving a year in prison a for a probation violation, it’s been reported that DMX has been moved to the Flamenco Mental Health Unit at Alhambra as of December 20th.

At his sentencing, Judge Christine Mulleneaux told him she believes he has “an undiagnosed mental condition,” possibly bi-polar disorder. DMX’s manager, Nakia Walker, wouldn’t comment specifically on whether DMX might have a mental disorder, but she says she wasn’t surprised when he was moved to a mental-health unit. The rapper himself always has refused to comment on speculation about his mental state.

Swizzy’s a little late than normal, but for this week’s Monster Monday, the missus sings beautifully about their newborn son, Egypt. The track also features E-V-E and samples the bridge from Yeezy’s ”Devil In A New Dress”.

Although Christmas is over, the other half of CNN drops off a late present with his solo track. Hopefully, with a new project coming next year, Capone doesn’t stop and has more on the way.
