You probably wouldn’t know it, but Ghostface Killah has a new album out called, Apollo Kids. No, it’s true. And while on a promo run, he mentions at the :56 second mark that he’s working on the sequel to his sophomore classic, Supreme Clientele. Time to spit the real once again.
its real fucked up,how def jam doesnt promote his album Apollo Kids,no video or mention on the radio,album is tight. Keep making the music for your fans Ghostface,i will be copping Supreme Clientele 2 when it drops, Who ever runs def jam aka no promotion needs to get fired,Russell Simmons needs to come back and run it,when he was running def jam they were on top.Ghostface Killah one of the best,
Ghostface better not fuck around on this joint (as if he ever does), Supreme Clientele is in my top 10 ALBUMS of all time. Im expecting some hardcore from him on the sequal.

It’s a shame Apollo Kids didn’t chart and sell so well, there was basically no promotion for it, no wonder. GFK is back spitting fire anyway which is what really matters-

Who do you blame? Def Jam or the artist?
Def Jam didnt do anything to promote it, but did the artist give them enough reason to? Should the artist have to do anything other then make a banging album which both artist did? Im salty at Def Jam for just moving 2000 units of quality music. Thats a damn shame.
2011 NEW RULE: Don’t tell rap fan about your album dropping, say 8 months out, START telling us a permanent release date. Why the frustration? recall Lil’Wayne/T-Pain (not that I was looking for one), L.O.X, Detox, Nas, The Game and alot of other rappers mentioned their album would drop in 2010 AND it NEVER happened…….Regardless, of the reason IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. So, just give us a release date when you have one and ALL the paper work is cleared.
GFK sold more than 2k (13k).

If everybody stopped doing what they do cuz no one appreciated it how would anyone ever get a chance to notice it?? If that’s the case jay z would of hung it up after vol. 1 flopped… All that matter is ghost has one of the strongest solo catalogues in the game and time will show that
