Surprised? Oh, quit your jibber jabber. Waka himself would probably admit that he’s no wizard of poetry. But for what he lacks in skill set, his debut Flockaveli makes up for in entertainment value. Produced majorly by Lex Luger, the project is buoyed by hypnotic drum and horn patterns. Ironically, the tracks are more effective individually than in their sequence, ie: the album’s big three:, “O Let’s Do It” , “Hard In The Paint” and “No Hands.” Really, it’s Waka’s simplicity that keeps him engaging. Whether he’s letting his burners (“Live By the Gun”) or onomatopoeia do the talking (“Bustin At Em”), Flockakveli maintained a presence and produced hit after hit after hit. If you can’t RESPECT. that, than, well, you know the rest. Blaow!

B. Dot you enjoyed this more than the other underrated albums? Thats one tough list man. respect it though. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Personally PT and PTII are my most underrated.
I know sometimes that things are posted for the discussion or controversy it could bring, but there are classier ways to do it. A Gucci song is by default better than a Waka song and for Gucci to be on the disappointing list but Waka be number 1 on the underrated is beyond logic. If anything, Id say Banks’ album was the most underrated by far. If you felt the need to put Waka on the list, it should have been at 10 at least.

To confirm my opinion on my previous post I just went to Itunes to listen to Flockaveli. As I previously stated the album sucks. Its terrible. I understand the simpler style rap that mainly talks about women, money, and drugs. Thats okay if your into that but lets let the rappers who excel in the genre get the notoriety. Gucci Mane is a perfect example of one of those artist. His beats are all very similar and his raps are more simple than, lets say Ghostface but he is still good. Waka Flocka Flame is why many people are saying hip hop is dead.
