Kings get remembered in time. Good thing Big K.R.I.T. left his mark last year with his mixer, K.R.I.T. Wuz Here. With respect to David Banner, Mississippi’s an uncharted territory. But K.R.I.T. brings listeners to his neck of the woods with backwood cuts like “Country Shit” and “Hometown Hero”. As far as collaborations goes, he holds his own on the standout “Glasshouse” with Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. Then on the spaced-out, “Moon And Stars”, his melodic harmonies constellate with Devin The Dude’s laidback groove. He saves the best for last on the introspective “Voices” and caps it off with dialogue from the film, The Kid Stays In the Picture. Hopefully, K.R.I.T. sticks around for good.

Fuck Harvey Levin and anybody that loves his celebrity news website. First you prematurely pronounce the impending death of Lil Wayne (Weezy Forgives. We Don't.) and then you try to link the horrific actions of one of the Boston Marathon culprits to our culture? "DEAD BOMBING SUSPECT: HEAVY INTO HIP HOP" You don't say? It's 2013 and most kids are into rap music. We've been penetrated pop culture, you cock suckers. "What's interesting... hip-hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women." So our music is at fault in this tragedy? Let's be clear the only bombs my culture cosigns is DJ Funkmaster Flex's sound effects. Thirty Mile Zone is prone to post anything to get traffic. Fuck dude and his coffee cup. Get you a Rap Radar cup and drink with us in the winner's circle.
Yo Mister Cee, the people feel threatened! Soliciting prostitutes is illegal and this is the second time your private affairs have been publicized. Get some help...and a room! —B.Dot
If this wasn’t the BEST mixtape of 2010, then I don’t what was. I kept this in heavy rotation in my whip and it’s STILL on my iPod. Haven’t taken it off since I downloaded it last Spring. K.R.I.T is a true artist. No matter where he’s from. Dude is the truth. Always looking forward to his features and new joints when I hear about ‘em.
Should’ve been higher. Period.
I agree with Ac@pella… This still gets rotation from me. If the top 8 suck… i’m going to demand a recount.
Best mixtape of 2010
@BarZ
Agreed. I know one thing B. Dot. Kush & O.J. better not be #1 or I’ma fuckin’ snap. Shit was tight, but not doper than this.
this wasn’t an album?
Kush & OJ better be top 3
@seriously
Exactly, I thought this was an album. Oh well, shits cool but i’d leave it right where it is. Handful of ‘tapes better than this
This should’ve been the TOP 3 at least! The only reason I took joint out of my car that I TOTALED IT! K.R.I.T. spit more real life talk on this mixtape than your favorite rapper in his whole wack ass career!
2000 and Beyond > Everything in 2010
Have to say, Im still throwin this tape in probably at least once a month, This is probably in my top 3 for this year.
u mean album..
Wow 9 are u serious only mix tape that was close last year was Kendrick lamar OD this was prolly top 10 including albums last year. Should have been in top 3 easily.
I can’t wait to see what RR feels was better than this….I’m a Wale fan but More about Nothing ain’t better than this, any Rick Ross mixtape was not better than this, I liked Kush & OJ a lot so I can see an argument for that especially after what it did for Wiz’ career but KRIT’s tape was better than most albums, not just mixtapes.
yeah its an album but its free so it makes it a mixtape and should be top 3 and Kush&Oj needs to be number i still play that shit i was one of the first to download it on the morning of april 14 shit is classic
this shoulda been at least top 3
Yeah this was a free album not a mixape…..rap radar you fucking up.
this is too low and should be top 5 def has a lot more replay value than Wale’s tape
ummmm this was an album (free) not a mixtape.
y’all got quite some lists here. Definitely enjoyed a lot of those albums. Wanted to let everyone know that my site Da-what.com just posted our Top 10 Albums of the year list as well. We got a couple overlaps and a couple that yall left off. http://da-what.com/2011/01/02/top-10-paid-albums-of-2010/ Check it out and let us know what you think! All comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input!
KRIT Wuz Her deserved Grammy Nomination….It doesn’t matter if he called it an album or mixtape. I was just happy to have 12+ tracks of pure fire. Once Again, this deserved Grammy Nomination.
def top 5 of 2010
Way too low. This is album of the year in my book. Joint is in the whip right nah!
i hope him and Yelawolf are runnin the south this year and this mixtape is great an album in its own right
THIS WAS NOT A ALBUM… IT WAS A MIXTAPE!!!!
THIS WAS A GOOD MIXTAPE!!!! KRIT IS MAD TALENTED!!!! CAN’T BELIEVE RR PUT THAT WALE TRASH OVER THIS!!!!
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
I agree with @AJB4
No way in the world it was 8 tapes better then this released in ’10…No fuckin way… There werent 8 projects PERIOD that were better than this actually…Someone bugged out on this one
way doper than Wale. -_-

im sorry but this was the best mixtape out last year hands down…. i didnt even hear that wiz khalifa shit and this 2x better than J cole shit
Rap rader is trippin. It the best album put out in 2010. One of the best debut in hip hop history. There only one mixtape I listen to for over 7 month straight and that the play cloth mixtape. The future of rap has arrived and his name is big krit. Get familiar wit it or kick rocks wit open toes. Shout out to Johnny for bringing the truth. Niggas don’t wanna hear no real shit…. It got to be something!!!!!
Best Mixtape BY FAR of 2010
then Friday Night Lights
then Kush & Oj
yall mutherfuckers are high
