    Reek da Villian is a lyrical beast. Finally New York is rhyming like New York again; punchlines, metaphors, braggadocio, etc. Non New York cats have been getting deals rhyming like classic NY emcees (see Jay Electronica and J Cole) while many NY emcees are linking up with Souljah Boy, Gucci and Wacka Flocka (I don’t wanna hear about Wacka being born in Queens,that boy is ATL to the bone). Rae and Ghost, along with others have refused to jump on the commercial bandwagon and have remained true to that good ole’ boom bap. I wish nothing but success for Reek and Busta and the whole conglomerate. Maybe skills will become relevant again.
