  8. Quaillark says:

For a long time I ONLY read jackets for singers and writers, then I just stopped even doing that all together to just love the music.

And I was a Dilla fan for soooo much stuff that I wasn’t even AWARE was him.

    That was a beautiful vid!

    Thanx

  9. Hip Hop Head says:

@TWIGZ I respect your opinion but others (not including myself) believe different & have enuff material to provide a great arguement for their case so I respect it & then proceed to tell em I believe Dr. Dre is the best of all time.

@blackdude420 Come on bruh jus because you don’t like them or their music doesnt mean Lex Luger, Zaytoven, Soulja Boy etc are NOT Hip-Hop because they are. If they’re not neither is Suger Hill Gang, Biz Markie, Busy Bee etc. There has ALWAYS been celebratory music in Hip-hop & it has ALWAYS sold more than the concious music.

This documentary was dope as hell. I used to think J Dilla was overrated too before I really did in depth search of his track record and he got some str8 fire. I wish I could’ve heard his beats with some different mc’s even though Common and Slum Village are EXCELLENT in my book. RIP DILLA.

REAL MUSIC WILL BE HERE LONGER THAN A LOTTA SHIT!!!
