While on the red carpet at the Grammys this past Sunday, Skylar Grey spoke with Sway about checking in with Dr. Dre on “I Need A Doctor”.
“I was just flattered that they would involve me on such a project. Dr. Dre has been working on [Detox] for 10 years and now I’m on a single off of it. It’s just a creative experience being in the studio with different people.I’m not from the hip-hop world but I think that’s what works for the sound that we got. The combination of the alternative chorus mixed with the hip-hop verses.”
I’m expecting “Thriller” mixed with “Songs in the Key of Life” w/ a touch of “Reasonable Doubt” and some “Chronic”… Is that asking too much for a 10yr wait?
