Eyebrows were raised during the listening session of Pusha’s Fear Of God, where a Weezy shout was heard on one of the tracks. Pusha tells Complex why he decided to put the feud in the casket.
“Ever since Lil Wayne went in to jail, that whole little stint [between me and him] is really dead and over with. I don’t have any ill will towards Wayne, Cash Money, or any of them. There was definitely a time period when I felt a certain way [about him], but as of right now I don’t. That’s just where I once was. I don’t even like speaking on it. [On Fear of God] I actually said, ‘They had freed Weezy, congratulations.’ When I seen Wayne in Miami, I told him, ‘Congratulations on getting out of jail.’

I don’t call what they had was beef because it wasn’t anything physical. Anyway the situation started cuz Wayne was talking about he made it cool to rock Bathing Ape and that other skateboarding ish. He something slick about Pharell in that same statement. So with Clipse and him being close they defended Pharell. Then Wayne was asked about how he felt bout the Clipse he said I’m a star I don’t see no eclipse some shit like that.
The beef started back in the Carter 2 days…remember the “Hustler Muzik” video with Wayne wearing the BAPE hoody..,some ppl claimed he was jocking Startrak, & he went off how he was a top rapper and dont have to follow them…
and then the Clipse got salty, and have been droppin subliminals for years…
this was an old, old beef from clipse saying they never got paid off what happened to that boy. I think dont quote the toadman tho.
