You might remember the original track being featured on the Based God’s latest mixtape, Illusions Of Grandeur. But now, Lil B unleashes the remix with a feature from Twista.

Radio and TV personality, DJ Megatron was shot and killed this morning in Staten Island. Currently, no arrests have been made nor eyewitnesses been found. Megatron worked at various radio stations along the East Coast including Hot 97 and was a regular DJ on BET’s 106 & Park. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

US soccer player Clint Dempsey recently was commissioned for Nike’s new ad campaign, Superfly, which also features music from Trae Tha Truth’s “Texas” off his 48 Hours mixtape. Goal!

Following the public wake the previous day, family and friends said their farewells yesterday during Nate Dogg’s funeral service at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. Nate’s manager, Rod McGrew spoke during the service and had this to say:

“He fought a hard fight. The last three years were unbelievable. He didn’t give up. He just had a talk with God and gave up. Two hours before that he was fine. He wanted to go to heaven and hang with his boys. He loved Tupac. He recorded with him. He wanted to hang with Biggie. But the most important thing is that he can walk around heaven with his favorite artist of all time, Michael Jackson.”

Rick Ross was arrested for drug possession Friday night after marijuana was detected from his hotel room in Shreveport, Louisnana. A gram of weed as found and Ross was later released on a misdemeanor summons.

In a separate incident the same night, Philadelpha Eagles Jason Star was arrested for resisting arrest after being told to lower the volume of music in his car. Both were scheduled to guest host an event at Kokopellis Nightclub.
