Bruno Mars decided to get a little lazy on American Idol this evening by performing his latest single, “The Lazy Song”. If you didn’t know his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans is in stores now.

I’m impressed that he’s backed up by a band. A band full of black musicians no less. I’m definitely feeling this. This is a great way to show middle and high schoolers interested in music that they can go far and that there is more to music than just Waka Flacka. There needs to be more artists backed up by bands. And more appreciation for live musicians.

Fucking amazing. If you didn’t know, his debut album just went PLATINUM in over 7 countries, which is fucking impressive. Thank God for artist who know how to make SONGS, instead of random ass rap verses about nothing
