Alot of you guys are crazy wit your solja boy or whatever. Its hard to name a top 10 or 20 because of the different era’s of music. Personaly I think Nas is the best to do it. But you also have to have longevity and be relative for a long period of time. You can go back to Rakim, Kool G Rap, KrS-One, Special Ed, ect…but most people in their 20′s won’t even know who them guys are. Then I’m seeing rick ross, and Game, and I just laugh. I saw a post where somebody said mos def was a underground artist. what a joke. Maybe he was underground in 95. This is the problem with down south, and west coast rap.

I wish People would stop associating HIP HOP with rap. Its not the same. HIP HOP is it’ own entity. Like Guru or what Gangstarr was. This BS on the radio now days is simply rap.BS rap to be exact.
