Eminem and Royce teamed up with Converse for a special limited edition of Bad Meets Evil Chuck Taylors. The sneakers will be available at Boston and New York locations. A portion of the proceeds will also go to charity.

I wasn’t surprised by Em’s flip phone mainly because he’s not a real tech savvy guy. So I’m sure he just wanted a phone that can take calls and won’t break on the first drop. Why would he need a phone with a music player (when he still uses CDs), web browsing (when he doesn’t surf the net), or 5th generation gaming (when he still plays classic Donkey Kong)? But that’s Em. He can rock a flip phone because he just doesn’t give a fuck. Keeping it 2001 in 2011. I was surprised, however, by how big it is. It must take up his entire pocket.
Em is in a league of his own. He looks younger than 38 but his tech savvyness puts him closer to my dad’s age. Well, sort of. (My dad still has a VCR and refuses to upgrade to DVD.) But he can get away with not being on Twitter and Facebook and YouTube because it makes him more intriguing. In a world where everything and everyone is online, it’s interesting to see someone under 40 that doesn’t have an online life yet he’s manages to pull it off.
