This was a marketing experiment. He’s released hundreds of songs that sound like Soulja Boy with a celebrity name as the title, hook, and rhyme scheme, and acts hella based and gay to get people to notice. Then he leaks that his new album is going to be named something incredibly controversial. Except he actually drops a serious album, it’s just too bad he’s not a good rapper because there are 1,000 guys out there that could’ve went hard over those beats and could be making serious moves with Lil B’s hype, but it’s all wasted on a guy who is smart, but can’t rap.
It’s a traveshamockery, but good for Lil B. I hope he continues to dupe the idiots of the world into believing he’s actually a shittier rapper than he actually is.
As weird as it sounds I think if Lupe spit over the beats on Lil B’s album instead of LASERS he’d still be the darling icon of the online hip hop community. There are some real good beats there that will end up on mixtapes for years.
