There was a point and time I was rooting for Bow Wow, and I still would like to see him succeed again. I’ll be checking for this G4, and that song in the background did sound dope, the beat reminded me of something from 2000-2006, back when mainstream Hip-Hop and R&B wasn’t as Techno/Pop influenced. If Bow really makes attempts to step his lyrics game up, gets some good producers behind him, good features, and he can get a single in the vein of “My Last” or “I’m On One” then he could possibly see a successful project again
I agree his past haunts him. Sometimes he try’s to hard to act like a thug when it’s obvious he’s not. He should just try more to be closer to who he is. I think that’s why it’s hard to make him believable. Then again with the right marketing, beats, and collaborations with everyone in the industry anythings possible. Look at Rick Ross. He is a complete joke. He was humiliated by 50cent and revealed as the biggest rap fraud of all time, but with the right marketing, cosigns. and overwhelming radio play people accepted it.
