Although Soulja Boy tried to pull the wool over our eyes, he couldn’t pull a fast one on Uncle Sam. According to RadarOnline, in March, SB was hit with a $26,805 tax lien in California and a $3,571 in Mississippi. He paid for both in full last week. To make matters worse, his $280,000 home in McDonough, Georgia was foreclosed last year.

But when you are speaking on some financial things, that stuff isnt so cut and dry.
Tax bills in MS and CA arent income tax bills. Those could be anything. A foreclosure for a rich person has different circumstances as well. Could be anything.

Regular ass cats pay taxes out of EVERY check. Soulja Boy is a BUSINESS that get’s paid well over $40k a show not to mention features, production, licensing, endorsements, royalties etc. For the most part those checks come straight to him without uncle sam gettin his peice so at the end of the year when businessess (i,e, Promoters, record labels etc) report everything the governemnt calculates the entertainers pockets and if a artist or his accountant slip up on when or what they were paid and the government sees it THEY COME FOR THAT ASS

Soulja Boy is very irresponsible and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back at Burger King by 35 BUT just because your home is foreclosed doesn’t mean you have money issues. To people who are rich and have multiple properties, its cost efficient to let the bank foreclose rather than paying property taxes for something that you rarely use.
