just listen to Drake & J. Cole. Cole kills Drake lyrically, and he does his own production, he has much more talent but he can’t sing (but writes hooks).
If Drake’s “winning” right now it’s cause he’s more commercially oriented, and even on RAPRADAR people listen more to drake than cole, which means nearly everybody listens to more pop theses days over rap. SAD. so when you talk about real rap, Drake isn’t near Cole at all, but in today’s perspective Drake is better.
