@Product of Chicago I don’t mean to use the same Recovery formula, I mean it in the way Relapse was not what we expected, and Recovery was a lot better; we know Wayne can do better, he can go harder than C4. But he makes a point with this, even with this he sells a milli on 2 weeks, so he knows people will buy whatever he puts out.

Why do people make up stuff just to sound smart in their hating. According to what “sales trends” Cause this is par the course for hip hop albums where an emphasis is placed on first week sales and being the first to have the hot new album, hence the term “hip hop drop”…rap albums drop anywhere from 60%-80% on average from their first sales on average. Watch the Throne dropped somewhere around 65% and most likely would have been higher if not for the staggered release of the phyisical version of the album, which saw actual CDs not going on sale till the friday after the original digital release.
The bigger the first week, typically the bigger the decline…
C3 had a similar 75% decrease…Lady Gaga’s Fame Monster (which sold like 1.2 million or whatever) saw something close to 85%
Basically, stop making up stuff…and just admit “Wayne shitted on the industry again, and I’m upset about it”
