When he 21 he might be a elite rapper in the game. He dropping his debut album at 16. J. Cole dropping his at 26, now I don’t Diggy will on J. Cole level but he better than most out, 5 yrs is a long time grow. I can’t see how this kid can lose he won’t lose his hunger cuz he was born rich so he only has to prove his talent. He can appeal to mainstream and he can cater to hip-hop heads. FUTURE RITE HERE
I hope by 21, he does improve a lot, finds his own sound, and doesn’t fall into mainstream singles like that awful “Copy Paste” shit that he put out.
Only thing that makes me doubt though, is what will he learn to right about in 5 years time?
Kids been rich his whole life, the only thing I can think that he’ll learn and go through is issues with women, but hopefully not. I think he has a bright future if he creates his own lane.
New school Hip Hop is in good hands with people like Diggy. I still bump that Copy Paste joint. This songs all right.

Tbh he can go the Drake route. I mean shit, look how much Drake raps about strippers. And women.
There’s ton to talk about when it comes to women.
It wont be hardcore gangsta shit. But you can still be lyrical talking about everyday life. Just gotta make it sound good.
Oh yeah, women and relationships, and struggling to balance the two can create for a TON of subject matter.
I don’t want to see Diggy try and rap hard by any means, because it’s known that that wasn’t his upbringing or how he lived.
The only thing that I see that could be a problem there, is that it looks like Atlantic is going to try and push him like a clean cut rapper for young kids, like a hip-hop Jacob Lattimore or some shit like that.
Hopefully they give him creative freedom to grow, cuz from 16 to 21, I wasn’t nearly the same person, and this kid probably won’t be either.
I want to see him win, I’m just interested in seeing the process of his growth over the next couple years.
Look at what kids his age rap about aside from Earl Sweatshirt. He gets cosigned from Pharrell, Lupe, and a bunch of others what more can you ask for from this kid

The reason why think this kid is blow up is because he actully has a love for hip-hop. If he was like I look up to Soulja Boy or Waka then I wouldn’t fuck with him. He says his favorite rapper is Lupe and his favorite album is Resonable Doubt and Graduation. He also says he listens to alot of classic Wu-Tang, Nas, and Eminem. It’s scary to think how good he is going to be 5-7 years from now.
