During Lupe’s performance at Atlanta’s Tabernacle last night, he addressed the Troy Davis execution, which is scheduled to take place today. Davis was convicted of murdering a police officer in 1989. Since the trial in ’91, witnesses have recanted their testimony and a petition was created to stop the execution.

Executing a man whose guilt is doubtful is a complete and total travesty of justice.

On some real shit that nigga not supposed to be xecuted…there’s some reasonable doubt and he might just be innocent…smh the law is an ass.
They made this man prove his innocence.. Innocent until proven guilty.. damn near impossible especially in Georgia fucked up when your life comes down to a 4-3 vote with no physical evidence and the people who got you convicted come back and 7 out of 9 say they lied.. and 1 of those 2 that didn’t recant is the person who actually committed the crime. American Justice.
Troy Davis is guilty as hell. Dumb celebrities should read about people they defend – some of this moron still support Abu Jamal with is pathetic.
I’m not saying he’s innocent and I’m not saying he’s guilty but it’s a cold day in he’ll when somone can be put to his death for something he might have done. And they totally skipped the fact that if he’s not guilty now there’s the case of putting him in jail since 1989 wrongfully.

Been keeping an eye on the Troy Davis case and signing the petitions, shit is just ridiculous… the American legal system is so crooked! From state to state everybody has their own rules and way of implementing the so called “Law”. There’s no justice in killing a man that has not been proved beyond a reasonable doubt to be guilty. It’s absolute bullshit.
Imagine being an innocent man in jail for 20 years staring at the row. It’s beyond comprehension.
