STOP IT 5. If Cole break 50k I’ll be amazed, because he ain’t made a hit song yet. That Miguel feature was dope as hell, but that Paula Abdul stuff was butt. You really think his records are competitive with “When It All Falls Down” and “Jesus Walks”??? Comparisons are not good for music my friend. When u about to deliver one of the best albums of the year, sales arent that important. he could sell 10k and it wont matter. Dope performance. Mr. Nice Watch is a good song to perform from the album. #Cole World

We just have different opinions regarding music among other things if you seriously believe Lost Ones by J. Cole is as dope/better than anything on The College Dropout. I actually dig some of J. Cole’s music and I’m definitely not a Kanye West die hard fan, but I can separate classic from cool. That’s all I’m sayin…
Im a Cole fan but even I dont think he gonna hit 200k first week. Imean, anything over 100k first week is pretty good in my book so im hoping he at LEAST hits that…

I understand ya points, to call J. Cole’s album a classic is ridiculous it’s only been leaked for almost a week now it takes time to determine if it’s a classic or not. But ya need to remember something, The College Dropout came in a time where you can drop a song and it don’t matter what that song was about and if it was dope then it’s gonna get played everywhere. Nowadays since the game has changed you gotta drop these bullshit singles aiming at bitches and with little substance in order to get played. BTW he is selling over 100k ya mad ignorant to think he selling less than that.

Didn’t tech9 sell a shit load of albums without any real singles or marketing?
College Dropout was dope when it came out. Maybe i just played it too much because I can only play about 3 songs off of it now. Graduation and Late Registration are great albums too. I can’t do MBDTF or WTT though, sorry.
I am enjoying Cole World a lot more than I enjoyed college dropout when that dropped to be honest. When i heard it for the first time I got goosebumps and I really dig a lot of the content and production. I was able to connect with songs like Breakdown, and Rise and shine has one of the hottest beats I have heard in a while. Only time will tell if it’s a classic but I am definitely not disappointed with this and plan on purchasing a couple copies to show support for a good artist.
I don’t know about Cole doing big numbers but all I know is his album is eaisly a TIMELESS classic. He has loyal fans that haven’t heard it yet and selling out every show. This nigga has people camping out for CD in 2011, enough said.

He packed the concert tonight well it was only a dollar. But why is their niggas already lined up to get his CD? It’s like two days away till its out.
Cole is a beast with it!! I hope he sells some units, be good to see quality sell…. I’m thinking 130K first week, with no hit single… he’s on the Roc remember.
