LiveLoveA$AP kinda IS that serious tho. It’s the coming out party for a kid who’s already created a huge buzz for himself, not to mention a major deal, without even dropping a serious project yet. So yea, its definitely important enough to call up some experts and insiders and give them a preview, that’s how you build a career.
^^^^ I respect what all of you are saying but honestly, if it was a big deal with this guy, wouldnt you think the quality of at least the video would be decent? the left side speakers were bleeding bad acoustics. it looked rachet as hell. 3 million dollar deal supposedly and no major players just c-list people and rare commodities (Mos). and the songs arent even impressive. SOmeone please explain to me what im not seeing here. I respect hustle greatly but when the hustle fucks up integrity, the next man has to suffer and so on and so forth.

I uinderstand the New York plight indeed, but just because one is unique doesnt necessarily equate to being talented. Asap still has time to sort himself out though. However when you hear about stuff like when him and the crew wrecked that Fader stage because it “was too small”, the nigga shoots himself in the foot, especially when he aint hot yet.
ASAP is fine. He can pick beats. He has a buzz. His flow is current and easy on the ear. His image is unique. Peso is a street song. If he can get something like “She will” A sexy record but not pop, he might have a Platinum record.

The Bass record is really good. Peso is an anthem right now. But to get those units he’ll need a female friendly NON POP song. This is something like Single by Wayne. Something simple but real. People like him because he isn’t flashy. A perfect hookup would be that white girl iggy azalea. A dirty non pop female record like that PUSSY song. If RCA is smart that girl should be on the roster.
