Trying to beef with Drake to create some buzz? lol according to Def Jam TM103 is topping your album by a mile! Common you’re washed up, Drake took your spot. 3 words GIVE IT UP

  5. Protektah X says:

Fuck drake! Common is Real Hip Hop Legend!

  6. G-Cass says:

If you’re seriously on Drake’s side you’re a faggot. Common is at the core of what hip hop represents and he makes consistently strong albums. I like Drake on a lower level but wow do your homework.

Drake over Common? Bitch please! U young whores need to respect longevity! Holla in 15 years if Drakes still relevant. Oh yeah commons new cd might be the best shit to come out all year

  9. Word says:

Why do you have to take sides? Why cant I fuck with both? I never really fucked with Common musically but I respect dude to death cuz he steers clear of the beef shit for the most part and is a conscience dude forreal. Raps about real shit in his own way. I lost respect for him for this diss but I still HIGHLY respedct dude. And I fucks with Drake too. Im sure they gonna work it out. Common a mature dude. Dont be surprised to hear a collabo track in the future.

  10. Yukon Cornelius says:

Drake’s sweet as cake, and that’s not up for debate.

“Diss me and you’ll never hear a reply to it… but I might cry about it.”

I respect both of them niggas. Fuck with them both. I skimmed over Take Care, didnt like it. Hell I dont like Common albums that much either. But I fuck with some of his songs. I listen to both MCs.

But Drake does take shots all day long in his songs. He’s been puffing out that chest a lot these days. I aint got no problem with it. But some rappers do. So they’ve been getting at him. Dunno why Common has a problem with the dude. But you gotta admit Drake’s been talking extra slick these days warranted or not.

Dont know where this beef stems from, but I’ll watch it. I aint taking sides at all. But if they gonna get in the ring and spar on wax. I’ll pull up a chair.

this version should’ve been a bonus cut on the album. If your a fan of Drake that’s ok, but if your calling Common old or washed up your only an example of how young and dumb some of the hip hop audience can be. Common’s been around so long he’s been through a few transformations as an artist, and at the deepest level he is an MC, don’t nobody be calling Drake an MC, he’s nowhere near, he’s got a certain talent for what he do, but just because this singing wonder is capable of rapping don’t go calling him an MC. Drake is enjoying his 15 minutes for now, but like all hip hop movements before him, his will end. See if the labels still push his product five years from now, and if he still puts out music thats true to the genre, and no he hasn’t put out a hip hop album to date. Common put out Be after putting out a not so well received album, and now puts out Believer after another not so well received album, and serious hip hop heads are standing by him, this is easily among his best efforts.

Call me when Drake is not only relevant in the same period of time as Common, but also has a bonafide classic under his belt. Last time I checked Drake had neither. I fully support the diss that Common put out, Drake leads the pack of little young niggas talking slick about the pioneers of hip hop. Why can’t these niggas just admit that without the niggas that came before them, there would be no Drake’s, Wayne’s and all these other pseudo-homo little niggas. Like just say “thank you” and keep it moving. It’s an old saying that they need to really start getting with, that basically says don’t praise yourself, let others do it for you. What do these clowns expect is going to happen? They gonna get molded back into the little bitch niggas that they are.
