    cant believe in 2012, artists like the dream are still singing lyrics like “rock your body”, “put it on me”. No innovation or change. Listen to the weeknd, and frank ocean and take notes. You keep feeding the young generation with this dumb shit. Fuck outta here. We wanna hear that real. If u aint got it, quit! Over here singing “shawty”, “rock your body”. No suprise the dream is the one who wrote Baby for Justin Beiber. Now the whole world hates the poor kid and its all because of shitty lyrics from the one and only the dream. You are a waste of talent.

    @JColefan

    Stop the bullshit.

    The Weekends lyrics are more of the same as well. Stop trying to knock it. Ive listened to almost everything the Weeknd has out there.

    And the funny thing is Weeknds song structure, melody and subject matter is very similar to The Dream. Although Weeknd talks about doing pills and lean A LOT in his songs, hes mostly talking about fucking as well.

    So YOU need to stop the Bullshit. Seriously, down a nigga for writing hits? 1977 was next level and it MADE these RnB cats go back and do more. Theres a lot of wack RnB but to go at The Dream? Fk outta here, B.

    The Weekend is putting out quality music out and so is the The Dream.

    Fk niggas always gotta down another dude for. Try to call someone out when their favorite artist is doing the same shit and to make it worse they champion a dude thats lowkey style jackin as well.

    I like both them niggas.

    “See I created this sound, Yes sir I shut it down. There can only be number 1. These other niggas are my sons.” – The Dream

    ^^ That quote says it all.

    I agree 100%. I hate it when incompetent people like @jcolefan, who clearly doesn’t know shit about music, tries to down a excellant artist for a new comer who is basically the same style artist with a different name and face. The dream is an inspiration to music he is actually one of the few keeping real music alive. Don’t get me wrong i enjoy the weekend jcole etc. but the weekend and jcole are nobody but a low class The-Dream and lupe fiasco, if even you even wanna use those two. Im a black male from the south side of chicago raised by my parents and grandparents who still play 8-track records and record discs til this day, so i can agree with @RC when he says the The-Dream is still the best around. there hasn’t been more than 2 songs on any of The dream’s albums that i haven’t liked and i am very excited for his next album so just because you enjoy a less talented homosexual version of The-Dream why share it and possibly make him want to stop creating music for the one’s that depend on real artists like him to provide good quality music? I personally think thats selfish kiddo
