Oh sweet irony. The largest selling rap album of last year is also the most disappointing. While Carter 3 solidified Weezy’s position as an all-time rap great, its floundering follow-up is filled with hit-and-miss bars, poor production choices and a plethora of guests who outshine the Young Money boss on the album’s best moments. “She Will” is all Drizzy Drake in all his hookman glory. Rick Ross remakes his own song on “John”. And Tech 9ne and Nas steal the scene on the “Interlude” and “Outro,” respectively. Sorry Bussa-Bus but this is far from classic material.

This is the most accurate thing RR has ever done! This album has no playback quality. A few good club joints, but nothing I will ever ride to. On the other hand, Carter 1 – 3, including the Carter 3 Leak album are all damn near classic status. Shame on you Weezy. Hopefully he gets his swag back, I think he needs to get back to smoking or something…….. oh and start paying for beats.

Wayne CLEARLY wasnt trying with this one. Generic album title (After part 3 of something, PLEASE stop) Generic album cover (Your baby picture? Again?) Generic and repetitive bars, Lazy production. YN said it all. VERY disappointing. But Wayne stans dont care cuz he sold 1mil first week. The whole world laughing at yall for wasting your money on this shit and pretending its hot.

We EXPECT GREATNESS from Lupe n we expect MEDIOCRITY from Wayne
We were expecting Lasers to be one if not the best album of the year, we don’t expect much from Wayne… Obviously Lasers is far better than C4 but we expected that, so saying that is really not saying much… I would say that Lupe is better than Wayne on his worst day n that would be pretty accurate here
