’11 Disappointing Albums: #4 Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Flame Ferrari Boyz

This arrived on the day Watch The Throne dropped and needless to say it made way less impact than Jay and ‘Ye. On paper, this should’ve worked. Gucci, fresh off his latest stint in the pokey, pairing up with his protege. But nah shortie this lacked pomp and and deserved to flop. Fresh off Flockaveli and murderous mixtape material, I expected more from Waka, who surprisingly coasts here as La Flare’s Robin. Ah well, his upcoming Triple F will probably rectify things but looking back, this Ferrari caught a flat.

Wait, for an album to be “Disappointing” wouldnt there have to be high expectations? I expected garbage, listened to a couple songs and HEARD garbage. Wasnt disappointed at all.

  7. oj Da Cornball says:

Yn is a corn. So you had high expectation for two untalented dudes?

Disappointment was established when right minded people allowed those two to make music.

Worst disappointment was when you constantly post their songs on here, while you hate on artist who at least are way better than they are, even Lil Kim.

I think you taste in music is disappointing itself.

I have to agree with OJ. I don’t get why rapping like you have down syndrome over a ‘hard’ beat makes you dope. These guys are weak emcees (if you can even call them that. I think they met my expectations by making trash.
