Wow. According to the AP, R&B icon Whitney Houston passed away this afternoon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. She was 48. So far, no cause of death has been reported, but TMZ updates that her body was discovered in her room’s bathtub in a possible drowning incident.
During her career, Whitney has sold over 170 million albums and has received 415 Awards including 2 Emmys, 6 Grammys, 22 AMAs, and 30 Billboards. She recently filmed her latest movie role, Sparkle. We’ll always love you, Whitney.
