  14. Donn says:

I mean it’s alright but its nothing we haven’t heard from Nas already. What’s fresh and new about this. What’s the difference between this and what SlaughterHouse is already doing

Where’s the growth? What does Nas have to possibly talk about this album? Gonna preach some more about us being kings and Africa and blah blah blah. You did that already for years. We get it. Now what

Im gonna get hate for this but its just my opinion. I expect Nas to be on some next level shit, this I could get from Joell Ortiz or Crooked I or somebody

  15. DickRiding YN says:

Must be hard for YN’s Jay Z dick-riding ass to post this. YN probably emailed Jigga copping a plea.

Someone smack Elliot Wilson already for using the word “nigga” and calling himself YN!

  16. firiesport8 says:

    JESUS CHRIST!

  17. HOVA says:

  25. mr101 says:

Heavy D is a Jamaican descendent & Super Cat Is Reggae Legend…Jamaica Queens is where the Jamaicans Like Pappy Mason came in the 70’s to make a way.Just to put this track in full prospective. It’s HUGH!

  26. Cray Fish says:

It’s no “Nasty” but shit go hard.

  28. J. Ambrose. says:

  29. inbeforacameljockybringsupjayz says:

Why Ben Peters? Why? Jay Z and Nas are cool now, let it go. They say ether makes your soul burn slow but damn nigga its 2012. Get over it. Track is hot, you can admit it…I bet JayZ likes it.

  30. filipoo says:

    I don’t know what y’all were expecting for a single…

Nas needs a HIT in 2012.

NASTY was for THE PURISTS. He needs to keep building BUZZ for this album. What better way than to drop a BANGER for the clubs… something he ain’t done since… You Owe Me… WoW it’s been a while…

Ionno about y’all, but I’m listening through some good headphones (SOL Republic) and this shit is BANGIN’… can’t wait to throw it in the whip…

All you guys wanting more “Triple Beam Dreams” are going to get that- but NOT for a single… if Nas just made those songs for singles… He would be doing Ross numbers lol…

Do I wish Nas would hook up with Swizz, Dre, Premo, Kanye, Justice league, and Inkredibles for every track… Of Course!!! But yo, this is homage to Heavy D and it BANGS…

Watch this actually get club play and then half of you guys turn around and start liking the shit, like “Yo this shit is kinda growing on me…”

  31. lullaby says:

For all those who are saying it’s wack, it’s still better than your fake rappers’biggest hit. Let’s just say Nas has his own lane, No one even the now pop Jay z can fuck with these lyrics. let’s keep it real. real hiphop not pop.

  32. Marcus G says:

    Greatest Of All Time!!!!

  35. ben peters says:

aite i aint gonna lie it grew on me … i was hating at first

  36. Anonymous says:

    Salaam Remi is absolute garbage

  37. FTW says:

How? Jay isn’t even making hip hop music like that any more. At least Nas is still contributing.

  38. Gaz says:

This is Hip Hop! Nas is still killin it.

  39. SHAMEEKRA says:

that same repeating sound on the beat is so annoying really takes away from how good nas is lyrically

  40. BiggaBooBoogieChild says:

Nas is still picking wack beats.

  41. In Your Fucking Face says:

    You A Real Ass Nigga Nas ! ! !

  42. firiesport8 says:

agreed on Salaam Remi being garbage. But nonetheless, this Shit go Hard!

  43. Derek says:

Their’s still life in the best rapper alive!!! I hope the album is nuts, he needs it badly.

  44. Royalty of this shyt! says:

nas the true don of this bs hiphop game!! shyt is on point….imma have my dude play this shyt tommorrow at the club!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUEEEGO!!!!!

  45. Nas will be ALWAYS KNOWN for picking awful beats……WTF is this?

    Jay Camel > Nas

  46. hip hop is dead says:

ery body who says this is wack was prolly either born after 2000, loves radio (of D.C radio caliber which sucks ) or he rhymes went over ya head

  47. BlackGods says:

yea, finally, hard to find real shit nowadays

  48. Jungle says:

    Good spring banger for ny

  49. THAREALISBACC says:

LYRICS 5 OUT OF 5 STARS

PRODUCTION 2 OUT OF 5 STARS

  50. phuckyall says:

Nas killed it lyrically!! The beat aint the greatest in the world, but i fux wit it….

  51. WHITE ISLAND BITCH says:

Jamaican s from Jamaica are number one. NY Jamaicans are the prettiest. London yardies are toughest. Miami Jamaicans are lame. They act American.

  52. hiphop says:

nas must let rick ross pick the beats for him

  53. F.I.V.E. says:

FAYAAAAA! Nas is truly the best rapper alive.
Nas been keepin it real since day one #RealHipHop

    Nas > Camel Face

    Fuck Jay-Z *Game’s voice*

  54. loch121 says:

Had to come back to bang this no tag version.tags didn’t bother me
    @Loch121

  55. Foekist says:

    Salaam Remi is absolute garbage!

  56. Get Real says:

Another example of how bad Nasir is @ beat selection. If you’re signed to a label w/ Kanye, KRIT, and other ill producers WHY DON’T YOU MAKE USE OF THAT RESOURCE? For all of Nas’ lyrical prowess and ability the man hasn’t picked a dope beat to rap over in YEARS!!! These young producers would die to give Nas an ill beat!!! Yet he raps over trash production after trash production. Smh.

  57. R.Cey says:

All ya niggas talkin’ bout Salaam Remi being wack, research his production credits, Ya don’t know WTF you talking bout…

As for Nas picking beats; yeah he kinda sucks at that but this one is not the part of that… this is going to bang in club.

I guess niggas is mad cuz it’s faster than 72-75bpm, doesn’t have those 1/32 high-hats & no keyboards sounds that is so prominent in Hip Hop right now

  58. The track is cool but we need more artists who are unafraid to do Hip-Hop with innovations for the future. It is time for change. Hip Hop needs a tune up. Welcome Back Nas.

  59. ksleep says:

this shit kinda reminds me of “made you look”, a hungry nas over a ill loop. New York startin to sound pretty good again

  60. Angelo says:

I’m kinda blown away at how many people are complaining about this! WTF is wrong with your ears? This joint is MEANNNNNNN! It’s certified & ready to kill the clubs as the warm weather arrives. Ya’ll really don’t understand how this game works at all! Whether you know it or not this upcoming album for Nas is a make or break in alot of ways for him…He hasn’t had a dope Nas album since Stillmatic/God’s Son…That was 10,11 years ago. He needs to put out strong singles on this album…The new album will be well rounded. You will get your Nas records with the Premier, Pete Rock, Buckwild, RZA, Justice League, etc of the production game…but don’t knock dude for putting out a Club Banger for a 1st single. Play this joint in a serious sound system and re-evaluate your thoughts on this record

  61. 40 kyle says:

Can u say he MUURRDDEERRED dis anybody who sayd dis wack dnt kno hip hop or music at all n gotta be 17 or under smh they shouldnt comment at all

  62. jesus says:

@firiesport8 yes this track is heavenly

  63. Jus10 says:

Ok… starting to grow on me. The sample is a little annoying (and that just means the kids will love it), but the lyrics heat up after the first couple bars. Cool.

  64. Pete says:

The beat sux, it’s hard getting past that no matter how much I luv Nas.

  65. 2point0 says:

Extremely hard!! wish i could play this hoe all day long

  66. ultrakid says:

beat is decent, pretty basic though, but if you listen closely you tell where Heavy D had a hand in it(which is the dopest part of the instrumental), Nas goes hard lyrically of course.

  67. That Guy says:

Let’s not get anything confused, I think Nas is top 5 dead or alive. However, this track is sub par. As fans of hip-hop we have to remain objective, and there is nothing stellar about the lyrics, the instrumental is irritating, and the subject matter lacks freshness. He needs to get with Premo and make magic again.
