ok honestly, i’m not personally a fan of her music. It’s bearly tolerable being a girl from the generation she speaks of as “getting it” and whether we actually do get it or not is irrelevant. reguardless, yesterday i was hatin on her new album and didn’t really feel like it embodied her talent as an artist that got her on the mark. yet, after listening to this interview i gotta give the girl some props for being like “if you don’t dig it go find another hole to jump into.”shes gonna do her and have fun and i give the girl respect for not trying to follow everyone elses trends and set her own pace- nikki speed. good interview to see another side of nicki clearly thinking on her own and being upfront about all the bull shit.

It’s one thing to have an open-mind. It’s another thing ENTIRELY to condone talentless hacks like Nicki Minaj.
This is not simply ‘my opinion’, but is something everyone can look at objectively AND agree with.
Nicki Minaj’s music is generic/ watered down/ pre-packaged by major labels and as a result, it’s a carbon-copy of what’s on the radio. Her music lacks even an ounce of creativity and has no redeeming value or noteworthy message.
She employs nonsensical rhyme schemes, cannot sing and uses alter egos to mask the blandness of her actual personality.
People who describe her music as ‘fun’, need to realise that making ‘fun music’ (whatever that is) does not require any talent whatsoever.
This is why she has been banished from the ‘Hip Hop Garden of Eden’ lol.
