The hype has begun for 50’s new Gangsta Grillz mixtape and tonight, Flex gets the go to unleash its latest offering over Dos Chainz’ “Riot”. Sounds like Curtis is 2 for 2 so far. The Lost Tape drops on May 15.
50 did his thang on this joint. 50 innovated the mixtapes in 02….so far he’s the last dude who’s ever changed the game.
I like the original better, but this is cool too.

Average verses from 50 although I liked this song as it was, 50 didn’t bring anything special besides his presence all he raps about these days is money and expensive stuff he has. I expect more from 50. 2 Chainz was actually better.
50’s early mixtapes consisted of him killing OTHER ARTISTS instrumentals…..his later tapes featured ORIGINAL music.

This was pretty bad. 50 still has it as evidenced by “niggas be schemin” with him and Kidd Kidd, but this doesn’t work. I didn’t like 50 when he came out. He disrespected Wu-Tang, and they brought me into the hip hop game. But looking back I have to respect his audacity and it worked. I cheered for him when he overcame his obstacles and was proud of his business acumen. Its the wackness in the game right now that makes me want him to come back. Actually I just want some honest good music whoever it comes from.
