All this fabrication must stop from the likes of Wayne, 50, Jay or any such wrapper who wakes up in a multimillion house/condo, has a chef, a maid, then rides in their driven half a million dollar car to lunch at some place where the hamburgers cost 100 dollars then picks their child up from private school then drives to the studio to rap about……………….crack, dope slanging, shootouts, poverty, etc. If it was their first album it would be understandable-they were just removed from that. But Im tired of this shit. 50 cent a known non drinker (which I respect) rapping about drugs and drinking, T.I. a cosby dad living in a mansion in GA (which is something to be very proud of) rapping about shooting AKs……the shits just lame.
Hes a talanted guy who could have made a song about countless topics and made a hot record. Instead he continues to promote a lifestyle he doesnt live (because that would be stupid) and promote “tough guy” music in communites filled with people really going through that shit.
You think gangbangers on his corner? You think his neighborhood has yellow tape everywhere? You think his neighborhood shoots every fuckin gun imaginable on New Years? No. But he talk that shit to your children and mine surrounded in a neighborhood by those things.
Now parents should raise kids, and yes its entertainment like the movies (though they still play the role in interviews-I never heard Arnold stay in character when talking to reporters)….but isnt this shit just lame? From a young ASAP Rocky (who Im not a fan of) or some dude fresh off a block okay….but from some guy who speaks proper English (as we should) but purposely dumbs down that English and partner becomes potna and King becames Kang….this shit is just lame.

Obviously if he rapped about million dollar mansions and cars etc. then what’s the point of him being an artist. That’s what an artist is, an artist represents millions of other people. So frankly it don’t matter if his really on the streets. Cos the ones that are on the streets will be bumping their speakers. Amen

Okay paper trail was a good album and he touched on many different subjects. No mercy not so good but as for what he raps about, on this song he went hood. Now does he live that way anymore…no (not a bad thing). I will say though he did live in the hood doing crazy things when he was younger. As an artist you always remember where you came from, so that mentality somewhat stays with you. Now that’s what he did for this song, let’s not judge until we hear the album as a whole, i’m sure he’ll have songs with other topics as well
