i feel you but difference between those mixtapes you mentioned 50′s is that when they dropped, it had high profile features in the industry manufactured n kept the hype up, every blog had ross/meek/jada mixtape promo in the background, you go on twitter, YN n other bloggers n rappers constantly tweet about it, even switched their twitter avatar.
now do you think 50 will receive that same treatment? fuck noo, hes burned alotta bridges but then again, he doesnt need it becuz at the end of the day 50 started this mixtape shit so his influence on the game will for ever remain.

I mean how many times is this guy gonna rhyme something with gat? I genuinely don’t like a single thing on this tape.. ok so after listening to the tape for the 3rd time, I’ve already got used to it. The Big 10 was solid but this was a step down man. he needs to fire fat Nelson n the rest of the gunit A&Rs, n bring back Sha Money XL (the chain on the motherfuckin bike). I heard plenty of interviews from Sha about him gettin grilled for havin harsh criticism on 50′s work so you already know hes gonna keep it 100 without feelin intimidated by his boss. Sha made 50 hot enough to get the attention of Em n Dre!

Just saying here… Keep in mind this is a MIXTAPE NOT AN ALBUM… And personally for what this is, it’s not bad, I did expect a bit more BUT on a flip note don’t expect him to get ‘personal’ on a mixtape…. I mean who does that??? Just wait for the album! That’s when you make the decision on whether he’s grown or gotten better or whatever it is you’re looking for because that’s OFFICIAL work!
Idk if I wanna hear 50 rap anymore. The brand is so much broader than the music now that I would like to see something else. I bought the sneakers (don’t judge me), saw the movies, read the books, drank the water, searched for the energy drink (STL don’t have it) and actually spent alot of time on the site (before RapRadar came of course) and honestly the music is the last thing I’m checkin for from 50.

You spend money on Product that has the same appeal, but “Respect” it more do to it being relevant and known at the current “Moment”. 50 has established a Career in a short time. Most of these current products aren’t guaranteed the same time due to there Relevance being placed on a pedestal at the Moment. Music is music. Not all of it is men’t to be placed in what I call the “Kanye Category”. It doesn’t all have to be artistry….
