Dude’s just as good a rapper as a comedian, and that’s a compliment!

I laugh every time i listen to this nigga, like I can’t believe he’s lame as fuck and one of the dopest niggas out right now, you can hear Eminem,Kanye,Wayne and Royce, and Big Sean on his album and freestyles, but he’s still nice on the mic can’t front!!

  4. fucktaylor says:

Then how the fuck is he lame if he is nice on the mic? Fuck outta here.

I don’t listen to CG personally, it’s just not for me, no shade on his talent. I just think it’s fascinating how incredibly soft hip hop has gotten over the last decade. I’m not even trying to diss, it’s just amazing how much everything has changed. Look at the guys that have achieved some degree of mainstream success over the last few years: Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole, Drake, Kid Cudi, Curren$y, Wale, Childish Gambino, Tyga…

I mean shit, even the only new guys that I can think of that aren’t straight up weak aren’t particularly badass, either (Meek Mill & A$AP Rocky). Amazing how things change with time. 10 years ago, 50 Cent ran Ja Rule out of the industry because he wasn’t enough of a thug, and that was AFTER Ja (via Supreme) had him shot 9 fuckin’ times.

What the hell? I’ve never heard of “Childish Gambino” but I’m sorry I used to follow Donald Glover since the Derrick Comedy days and I cannot buy him as a rapper.
