You gotta love DMX. Yesterday, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg caught up with X following the Rock The Bells press conference. He seemed a bit, uh, spaced out, but he spoke on performing at this year’s concert and dished some advice to Rosenberg. Hilarious. Part two after the jump.

^ why is he a “B” because he ruffled some feathers with speaking the truth? Rosenberg did what 99.99% of the “gate-keepers” (websites, Funk Flex, Angie Martinez-basically terrestrial radio) are SCARED to do: call trash music for what it is, TRASH music.
If you “cross-over” cool, we don’t have a problem with that. We’re not “hating” (the hip-hop word for when someone have an intelligent response, just call someone a “hater”) just don’t do it on the back of rap fans turning this thing into a CIRCUS where everyone want to dance AND sing (simultaneously).
Don’t believe it? T-Pain, at the height of his career, titled his album Thr33 Ringz as in a circus. He even went the route of representing a circus on the cover.
So, Rosenberg spoke up when it was necessary. Did you notice NO ONE had his back because behind doors they feel that way, but they can’t say it because they’ll be called an “hater” (see above) or be told “you’re washed up.”
So, thank you Rosenberg from the fans that are tired of-or don’t want too or never did-sing and dancing and better yet TRASH music. Thank you.

Well DMX after watching this im not going to the show at the Norva in Norfolk tonight where you are performing, and it was actually my plan tonight but after seeing this….why do i feel you will absolutely let me down. This sucks, and im ALWAYS pulling for you, Ive never wanted to give ANY artist SO many chances. It really sucks, hope you have a great show but i will not be in attendance.
