  2. ddave says:

A sad day for hip hop.

  3. IM730 says:

Yea! All these other labels that wanna be hot take notes…cause this is what not to do if youre a label. Signed a nigga just cause he had one locally hot song and a remix. that most people think is kanye’s song anyway.

  4. ddave says:

If you act like a thug, and can’t rap to save your life you can get a deal too. Smh.

  5. Truthkicker says:

FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE! AND BLOGS LIKE THIS SUPPORT THIS SHIT! YOU FUCKING BAFOONS. EWWWW…

  6. Mason says:

and another buys into the bullshit machine… he shoulda asked 50 how he feels about interscope. at least he can rely on Beats by Dre promo money but music wise this will pretty much end it. Que scramble to make his version of Love the Way You Lie part 137.

  7. Why So Serious says:

How is this investment profitable in anyway???????????
Please someone tell me. His hometown hates him, other artists in the industry are not gonna colab with this dude, dude got no fans, and if he does have fans they are mentally retarted, they cant drive to his shows. He’s not gonna sellout no shows. Really interscope??????!!!!!!!!
They must know something i don’t know.

  8. Hip-Hop Fiend says:

Damn I’m surpried I didn’t even know Interscope had intrest in this guy. I thought for sure he would sign with Cash Money or CTE like the other ratchet niggas who don’t know any better. This deal might good for Chief Keef but it damn sure ain’t good for Interscope.

  9. JustMyOpinion says:

Dear Hip-Hop/Rap: IT WAS GREAT KNOWING YOU.

  10. Live from the Chi says:

I’m not a huge fan personally (don’t hate him as much as everybody else here seems to, though). But anybody trying to say that “his hometown hates him” has no idea what’s going on in Chicago right now. Chief Keef and King Louie are HUGE; they get WAY more love than Common and Lupe. I know, it’s offensive to the average hip hop head, but you can’t just make shit up if you’re not even from Chicago.

  11. Sc_R says:

Lil nigga 16 repeat SIXTEEN grew up in a warzone and got his own fuckin label deal for him and GBE while on house arrest but y’all hatin on him?

  12. Sc_R says:

@livefromchi cosign! Plus the streets made him not no fuckin blogs he forced the blogs to fuck wit him after he was doin numbers on his own

  13. Rod Markie says:

This is a fucking shame this nigga sucks and i really think he is mentally challenged why do these labels do dumb shit like that; the artists has one hot single lets sign him, he has no fans, no buzz, no material, no appeal there fucking wasting there money he’ll be gone in a year or so

  14. Jay says:

Lame niggas getting signed, that’s that shit I don’t like!

  15. eurap says:

    @Why So Serious
interscope use whatdoestheinternetthink.net, if the result is good then they signed them, thats sometimes what i think.

  16. Hip-Hop Fiend says:

“Opportunity that I would kill for/Looking at rappers like, what the fuck you got a deal for”

  17. Double A says:

Congrats! Good for him! I’m always rooting for young people getting a chance to follow their dreams.

  18. $Munie$ says:

@Sc_R…I like his “Don’t like” song allot. All other songs from him I consider trash. But….you’re right…Nigga is 16 and made it to a place where he can call shots…I CAN NOT HATE THIS. Honest truth, half of us on here waitin for our turn to eat. DO we want ppl to say the same about us? We have no idea what dude went through for this regardless of his actual talent. HARD QUESTION TO ASK. You may continue bashing now…

  22. ualreadyknoo says:

im bout to find me the youngest illiterate nigga i know… give him some beats and market him a street genius…and eat…. this is type pathetic tho…. but everybody got their day

  23. DJAR says:

This nigga banking on an Em feature hence why he signed. Props to getting out of his hood! Can’t knock him for that but frankly he’s talentless.

  24. pienman says:

good luck… props to the homie & all that he does!

the dude is WACK as fyck… yeah, i mis-spelled “fuck”
cuz that is what is music sounds like… hopefully the lil man can turn out a “hit” record! cuz, hey if waka, gucci, piles, solja boy… and others can make it then this kid can make it

  25. Faded 4evaNaDay says:

Weak ass rapper but much respect for getting signed at 16. Hopefully he gets better.

  26. dumb niggas is winnin’ in the game right now

  27. JHP says:

I don’t know about Chi-Town, but here in Anderson, SC, Chief Keef gets major love. Artist like him get praised down here more than artist like Jay-Z, Kanye, Nas, etc. I don’t like it, but it’s the truth. Someone said everyone thinks “I Don’t Like” is Kanye’s song, but not really, more people around here bump the remix than they do the original. And to the one who said no one in the industry will collaborate with this dude, he’s already had Kanye, Big Sean, Pusha T, & Jadakiss on his remix, he did a song with Young Jeezy called “Understand Me”, and he was brought out on stage by Drake & Waka Flocka during the Club Paradise tour, so I don’t think that’s gonna be the case either. I listen to Chief Keef when I’m in my hype ignorant mood, but I definitely don’t take him serious as a lyricst. Chief Keef might score some type of Future/Roscoe/Flocka type hit with something like “No Hands” or “Racks” but we’ll see. His album won’t move any more digits than Flocka’s album though, and Flocka never moves a lot of albums, but he’ll be getting money off touring prolly.

  28. Scrilla says:

    Wasn’t he signing to CTE?

  29. micah says:

I don’t believe he got the beats by drWa deal or the movie deal. The last self made teen star joined interscope Soulja boy. And yeah they do him like they do 50 sit him right on a shelf. Bullshit keef got hot music cte woulda been best. Or maybe even Epic. Future cd done did over 100k

  30. the void says:

so much hate for a young man making moves.

  31. the void says:

lol @ that nerd analyzing keefs quote. lames looking for any and every imperfection.

  32. DJEZZYYTWIST says:

NIGGA signed at 16 ?????fuck you talking about he is bout to turn 18 IN AUGUST!!!!!! he born 94

  33. megaBOY says:

interscope wtf? i thought they only was signing good ppl(TDE) and ppl they kno they can make money off(soulja boy back then) well well…interscope is a good label they let you drop shit…….BUT he does have hood fans and do they even buy albums lmfao… future and waka have grown up female fans they buy albums….. this nigga have black teens dnt think so dude

  34. Ea$y Bread says:

Good news for the youngin’ Congrats.

  35. djdoit says:

thats it! im gonna take the four generic sounds on my fruity loops, make a wack ass beat and say the same shit over and over. capnfukem comin soon to the first dumb ass label. my albums titled. laughin
; all the way 2 tha bank. part 1
    smgdh

  36. Swazzoo says:

Wow interscope signs chief keef and niggas get hissie fits. Why? interscope is not a hiphop label. You know hiphop is dying when niggas get mad because a major record label signs a certain type of rapper. Young nigga must be doing something right kanye and dre wants to work with him.

  37. Devante says:

All these labels just want the is next Wiz. Why you think Sony signed ASAP.

  38. ultrakid says:

gotta agree with with @Live from the Chi, Keef gets more love on the radio. of course Kanye gets the most love here, but thats KANYE, but as for common and lupe? HA. maybe you might here there songs played on Sunday evenings during the mix hour, but thats it. i do believe niggas will collaborate with dude tho, -Soulja boy, Waka flocka, gucci, Yo gotti-, niggas like that.

  39. deez says:

lol this ridiculous so much other ACTUAL TALENT out there like forreal, this dude also got a like a multi-movie deal and his own imprint on interscope (gme) this is insane..

  40. Sonny says:

Hip Hop is like American Idol, except the terrible talentless acts dont get laughed at, they get record deals

  41. kayandgee says:

interscope must know something we dont, good luck to him, ill be watching

  42. M.T says:

“Hip Hop is like American Idol, except the terrible talentless acts dont get laughed at, they get record deals”
    ^
Cosign! This nigga is complete garbage. “I Don’t Like remix” was pretty good tho and that was cuz of the features. Couldnt even listen to the original. Niggas want to excuse the garbage he puts out cuz hes young, on the radio, or making moves. FUCK OUTTA HERE.

  43. TheChosenOne11 says:

    Congrats, I’m next…

  44. WACKJUICE says:

CANT BE MAD AT THIS NIGGA. BUT LETS BE FUCKING HONEST. THIS NIGGA IS HOT GARBAGE. DUMPSTER JUICE. PIG SHIT….SOULJA BOY IS A BETTER HUMAN BEING….I SWEAR HIP HOP NEED TO STOP TAKING THESE L’S. THIS NIGGA ABOUT TO GO DOUBLE PLANK. NIGGA YOU BETTER SAVE THAT ADVANCE MONEY AND INVEST THE SHIT YOU MAKE FROM SHOWS OR END UP BACK AT SQUARE 1. SMH HIP HOP..SMH.

  45. franky says:

Anyone who thinks this retarded clown gets attention from the media and Interscope because of creative interest is a DANG FOOOL !!!
Since the 80’s Hiphop culture has not been ‘ours’ anymore…it’s being abused, it’s being manipulated in ways we couldn’t even dare to imagine.. “Keep ’em dumb” is the main objective

  46. Chan B says:

I think he should have went with Cash Money. It’s hard to get shine when being signed to interscope.

  47. Fuck Ya Life says:

A record deal off of 1 hot song that was in reality wack as shit. This nigga album will never see the light of day. These labels need to stop havin biddin wars over flavors of the month see: French Montana.

  48. DAT WHITE NIGGA says:

GREAT ANOTHER DUMB NIGGA WITH NO SUBSTANCE IN HIS LYRICS THAT RAPS ABOUT NOTHING AND MAKES NOISES I’D EXPECT TO HEAR ON A SHORT BUS. WTF IS INTERSCOPE THINKING SIGNING CHIEF QUEEF?

  49. @gtfomike says:

Soulja Boy feat. Chief Keef – Crank That Pt. 2 coming in 4,3,2,1,………….

  50. TrueIndeed says:

^^true …french montana is wack too. I cant wait to see his numbers lol. This nigga cheif keef doesnt stand a chance. Hes wack as fuck. I give a him a year or so and he will be forgotten. Only thing that can keep him buzzing right now is collabing with artists from the south.

  67. Trell says:

This dude better thank Kanye West lol I mean on his knees and bow for that dude

  68. Brandeezy says:

Chicago is a city of haters, music-wise. Unless you’re Kanye, you have no hope of being a local act and getting played unless it’s during a DJ mix hour at 12 at night. The fact Chief is getting radio play during rush hour/prime time says a lot.

And the fact is there aren’t too many kids from the south and west side of Chicago that are checking for lyricism. Its a war out there (more murders than in Afghanistan) and they want that amped shit. And they, and the other kids in the ghettos across the country, made him big.

  69. Antoine says:

All yall need to stfu just go on youtube and look up chief keef he has many vidoe and songs. Also he brings the thug life back into rap which really needed. So stfu and hop off dick! he got more money then all of us! So stop hating damn!

  70. AANDREALM says:

I like the tracks I like the new style. I know he has little to no lyrical contenr. Tell me who you like you 40-50 year old Mobb Deep, Tu Pac, Cool keith era fans? Who dont like this young mans efforts. Nation Of Islam attacked the problems on the streets of Chicago and th(e)y stopped them remember that. Dont turn from your ugly nappy headed children you nuvoblack cry babies. The real men amoung you can still show them how to be men just dont shun them. They are yours and yours only!! Love Yall
