  1. Cut the doo doo dreadshomie…wale ugly as shit! Hahaha

  2. Kace Jones says:

Wale is the juice that drips from the back of garbage trucks…a prime example of an artist that’s a truly lost soul…went from a D.C. influenced sound to working with 9th Wonder..to Rick Ross…and actually became pretty annoying in the process ….I was a fan early on but he’s alienated most of his fanbase in an attempt to “cross over” ….find yourself and find your way back to your core audience

  3. JustMyOpinion says:

    ^ I think that’s the problem w/ Wal

  4. Kace Jones says:

@justmyopinion…..I feel ya on that…and that’s just the point ….when he was coming out he repped his area and the music was way more solid than the stuff he’s done as of late….and truth be told being that I followed his early work I knew he was from D.C. …nowadays everybody I talk to thinks he’s from Miami or just straight out have no clue where he’s from

  5. JustMyOpinion says:

^ I heard somebody say he from Miami, I was like son from D.C. They had no clue. He better wear that “W” for a year to get message out (same as Jay did-and still do with NY fiitted).

  6. Your Friendly Neighborhood Dopeman says:

Wale been repping D.C. since I’ve first started listening to him (100 Miles and Running). If you started to listen when he signed to MMG then you probably never heard his music beforehand but those who knew of him prior to MMG knows he’s from DC and reps hard. He even had a track titled “DC or Nothing” on Ambition.

  8. Hip-Hop Fiend says:

Wale is and always been GARBAGE. Even his shit before Ambition was just adverage. I don’t understand why clowns give that nigga so much attention.

  9. OhThatsyourGirl says:

^^^ i dare say attention defecit was a classic album, i actually thought it was better than ambition, i mean everyones entitled to their opinion but wale is definantly a nice artist

  10. EMCEE COMPANY says:

    WHERE’S THE NEW SLAUGHTERHOUSE VIDEO?

  11. Black Shady says:

Wale the type of artist that just annoys me!!!!!! you’re not AS DEEP as you think you are homie…..
stay humble please….cuz u sure aint as skilled as u think u are

  12. PolarBearsToenails says:

Ambition was HORRIBLE…I used to love this man’s shit….Mixtape About Nothing, More About Nothing…even Attention Deficit was aight.

But he flipped 180. Used to talk about real shit….constantly repping how he’s about hip hop, not a flashy chain….then turns around gets with Ross and make “Chain Music” GTFOH SELLOUT

  13. Real talk says:

“do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it”

  14. Kace Jones says:

Wale the type of artist that just annoys me!!!!!! you

  15. Jinx says:

wale always represented D.C , D.C never embraced wale.

  16. Kemosabi says:

^ agree. Anyone here from DC that can explain the hometown backlash?

  17. @PolarBearsToenails says:

did you even listen to chain music or did you just read the title?

  18. Niyemortal says:

    @Kemosabi

I guess its more that D.C. Is still trying to find its own lane til this day as there are a lot here who don’t know who they are. So for Wale to come and say he encompasses the essence of D.C., not many were quick to just go along with that notion. I’m an artist here in the DC/MD area, but I wouldn’t Wale is the one that represents my goals and interests. I’m indifferent and I want him to succeed, but there are others who a bit more “hostile” with their opinions.

  19. mac DIESEL says:

    @ B.Dot

HEY, DO ME A FAVOR BRIAN!!!! SINCE YA’LL IS SO BUDDY BUDDY WIT MMG, U SHOULD FEEL COMFORTABLE TELLIN’ WALE THAT A THIRD ALBUM IS NOT NECESSARY!!!! TWO WACK ALBUMS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!

    ………..HA!!!! THANKS BRIAN!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  20. Romo says:

Thas the problem with hiphop… you release a track or a article and you see a bunch of dumb ass comments that intimidate the artist rather it be quality or junk !!! Now everybody’s a critic !!!

  21. MUZZYG says:

WALE IM HAPPY FOR YOU MY BROTHER..KEEP DOIN WHAT U DO FAM…

  22. Yerp says:

@PolarBearsToenails Go back and LISTEN to Chain Music and get back to me. Thats your homework, lil nigga. You fools have to listen to the undertones and symbolism in Wale’s music. Thats the only way you will understand. However, I do agree he needs to speak less about how deep his music is, and has to trust the listener to ONE DAY get it. I dont think he changed his style too much when linking with Maybach, but I do think he and we were unclear what his style was……

  23. the void says:

@ mac DIESEL , b.dot likes wale cause they both look like bum ass niggas.

  24. MURRLAND says:

Wale ain’t embraced in D.C. cuz people in D.C. are ignorant and hate on each other. That’s why Wale don’t look out for D.C. rappers cuz he ignorant to. Maryland rules all. Logic runs DMV now…#RattPackBoi

  25. changeclothz says:

macdiesel in this bitchhhh lol…….nuff respect man.i enjoy ur comments alot

  26. King Chandler says:

I fuck with Wale, but dude does have identity issues, his image when he first came out was all positive, and his views on women were drastically different, now every verse is about yellow nuvo and smashin groupies. He used to be the most humble dude, then gets some success and now he’s feelin himself way too much, every verse sounds exactly the same lately, switch your delivery or some shit.

  27. mac DIESEL says:

    the void says:

b.dot likes wale cause they both look like bum ass niggas.
