Wayne sucks these days. He was never “The Best…” but he was more creative at one point, about the time Spitta was w/YMCMB… and b/c dude is getting money don’t mean you gotta say some nonsense punchlines ALL THE TIME. (i.e. Jay & Kanye)
I admit when you listen to Carter 2 and even some Carter 3 tracks, combined with a lot of his mixtapes around that time and his sales and all that, you could make a case for him being the “Best” rapper at the time. But now dudes like Cole, Drake, Wale are in the fold and old dudes like Kanye, Jay, Eminem, Nas, and others still drop hot shit, plus dudes like Ross are arguably hotter than Wayne and do what he does better than him. He use to be at the top but dude is just another piece on the board in my opinion. Carter 4 sales or not, album was forgettable. You dont even hear dudes bump that shit anymore. Not one track.
But yeah though, dont miss this jet hoe! Jet life!

at the end of this song my first thought was, man, waynes just lost it he doesn’t even sound hungry at all like his just doing it now out of obligation, i saw this happen to eminem his been in that zone for a while. like im just so perplexed how does it happen like if you go back listen to hungry wayne or hungry eminem and then them now its like someone totally different is penning the rhymes. how can you be so dope and then one day you can barely manage to spit a decent verse that makes any sense or something. these shits wack as mother fucker how is waynes verse the worst verse in this song. BIG KRIT has a better verse and he doesn’t even have a full verse.
